Recently, we explored the chat that is offered on moodle and it may not be as up-to-date as other chat sites but this is one good thing that groups members can use when wanting to communicate outside of class. Overall, moodle has been very helpful and user friendly and I recommend the use of moodle in all courses.

Jing Project:

-- Font/Text:

* Simple and easy to navigate and download.

-- Rating: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★

* Jing deserves 5 stars. I love jing and how much it has helped me to put up pictures, graphs I created, etc. onto a website or presentation.

-- Brief Description:

* . Jing is simple to use, user friendly, and most importantly free! I recommend jing for all to use because it will surely take your presentation a step further especially when a picture, etc. can’t be copied to your presentation or website. Jing is able to provide that step up in putting pictures, graphs, etc. anywhere desired. It is located on the upper right side of your computer screen after downloading and all you have to do is point the arrow to the icon and click on one of the 3 rays provided because it looks like a sun, and it is almost like cropping a picture. Jing is the same concept except the original picture will still be available and on the other hand using jing will save the desired image you cropped anywhere on your computer. If you don’t want to save the image you can just simple click the copy button and go to your website, or wherever you want to paste the image and either click (command V-for mac users) or edit-paste. The image will automatically appear! I use jing all the time and I am glad I was introduced to it. Jing has helped me a lot for presentations as well as my online class when wanting to post a graph, etc.

* Prezi is a free! It has become one of my favorite websites to create presentations unlike regular boring power point presentations. Prezi has taken a step further in technology and provides users to create their presentation on the web and from scratch. All you have to do first after signing up is choosing a background then getting started. Your able to put any topic anywhere within your prezi presentation and in the end all you have to do is create a path to which word(s) you want to show up first or even picture and it doesn’t matter if your layout is not organized, the path you set it to will show up the in the order it was set to. Prezi can be live on the web presentation oryou also have the option of downloading your presentation to your computer and that can be used for backup incase the internet goes out. Overall, I love using prezi and I feel this is the next step to great, eye catching presentations.
